With life here on earth passing by so quickly, it is impossible to keep family and friends updated with the current news. This blog is an attempt to make up for all of the un-sent letters and un-answered emails.
Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, my family moved to Missouri 4 years ago. I am in my third year at Central Christian College of the Bible, and am pursuing a bachelors degree in religious studies and an associate degree in social work. While at Central I also pursued a relationship with a gentleman named Aaron, to whom I am now married. We recently brought a new member into our young family, Captain Jack Sparrow (or Jack for short), a handsome, grey cat.
My Grandpa Lacey, who suddenly became very ill only a short time ago, died today. He went in for surgery at 7 this morning, where he stayed until his death just after 2 this afternoon. It has been a hard time for me, and for the rest of my family as well. These hard times will continue for some time, though I am comforted with the thought that my grandpa is no longer suffering. Please keep my family, especially my grandma, in your prayers.

Our dear Annie,It was so sweet of you to put Granpa on your blog. Altho it breaks my heart to see the pictures and the words at the same time to is healing to my heart. I'm sure in a way he will know our great granddaughters name and remember he will live on thru you and her.He loved all you grandkids so much and was so proud of you. We cherished the summer's you would spend time with us, and the birthdays and Christmas. We know he is with our Heavenly Father and we can find comfort in that. Love all three of you so much.
